April 13, 2009 – 12:22 amThe Latitude E6300 XFR is a rugged touchscreen laptop from Dell that seriously kicks ass. This laptop has been produced to meet military standards for use in the toughest of environments whilst still giving good performance.
The 14.1″ touchscreen is only available as an option so make sure you spec yours with a touchscreen. Amazing durability though comes as standard with this monster of a laptop.
Dell have manufactured this laptop to survive drops, knocks, dust and direct water blasts so it’ll keep on working in driving rain or even a desert sandstorm. It boasts Dell’s Ballistic Armor protection to protect from knocks or drops from up to 4ft and Primoseal technology to prevent ingress of water and dust.
Dell have still found room for great performance though and there is support for 8GB of RAM as well as 120GB of hard drive or 128GB of SSD storage. CPU power comes from an Intel Core 2 Duo processor so this machine has some serious grunt.
